A forward-thinking healthcare practice in Crediton is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their urgent care team. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care under the supervision of GPs in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with ANP certification and has excellent interpersonal skills. We have a growing patient population of 16,500. Our mainsite is a brand-new, purpose-built surgery on the Exeter side of Crediton. Wealso provide care from our dispensing branch in the village ofThorverton. The Crediton site is within walking distance of the local railwaystation.
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucialrole in providing patient care under the supervision of our GPs. You will workclosely with healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patientcare. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, assisting withdiagnostic procedures, and offering support to patients and their families.
We are recognised as being a forward thinking andinnovative practice that provides a high standard of patient care. Ourmulti-disciplinary practice-based team includes 3 Urgent Care Paramedics, aClinical Pharmacist led prescribing team, and a remote GP team who support withadministrative work. We are also an active member of the Mid Devon HealthcarePCN with additional support from PCN ARRS staff including, a strong socialprescribing team and an in-house Mental Health Practitioner.
We are a training practice with a GP Registrartrainer, an F2 trainer and we also host medical students and nurseundergraduates.
We would very much like to add an Advanced NursePractitioner to support our Same-Day Urgent team. You will be working alongsideour 3 Paramedic Practitioners in a hub model of collaborative working,pre-triaging and work-flowing so patients are seen by the right clinician atthe right time. Appointments will be a mix of phone calls and face to face, aswell as care navigating to other services and supporting and empowering thePatient Services Team to do this.
We hold daily 30-minute coffee and clinical catch ups at11am and offer regular protected time for Clinical Meetings.
Supervisionis given to all Non-Medical Prescribers by a designated GP from the practice.
