A regional healthcare organization in Peterborough seeks a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to lead the neurodevelopmental team. The role includes outpatient clinics, providing assessments, and training medical trainees. Candidates must have a medical degree and a background in child psychiatry. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high standards of clinical governance.
To deliver an effective, efficient, and evidence-based child and adolescent psychiatry service in collaboration with multi-disciplinary colleagues particularly for children and young people in the neurodevelopmental pathway. We accept referrals in the Peterborough and South Lincolnshire area, in accordance with national guidance.
To observe local and national employment directives regarding managed medical personnel and ensure adherence to appropriate NHS and Trust policies.
The post-holder will provide medical leadership to the North Neurodevelopmental CAMHS (Autism and learning disability) team within the Integrated Children’s Service, working closely with Consultant colleagues in CAMHS and Paediatrics, CAMHS MDTs and alongside Managers.
