We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Unqualified Teacher of Art with a focus on Photography to join a dynamic and supportive school environment. Deliver high-quality Art and Photography lessons, providing students with an engaging, broad, and differentiated curriculum.
Monitor and support the academic progress and personal development of students.
Foster a learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
Contribute to the wider school community, supporting extracurricular activities and school events.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning, resource development, and lesson delivery.
Maintain clear and effective communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Be a form tutor, supporting the pastoral care and well-being of students.
Develop your professional skills through ongoing training and performance management.
A relevant undergraduate degree (Art, Photography, or related field).
Experience or a strong interest in photography, with proven practical skills.
Some prior teaching experience, ideally within a secondary school context (teaching practice is acceptable).
Knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS3 and KS4, and an understanding of lesson planning, resource development, and student assessment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.
Good ICT skills, ideally including experience with interactive whiteboards and other digital learning tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
A commitment to high standards, equality of access for all students, and fostering a safe, supportive, and motivating learning environment.
