Randstad Education is seeking an Autism Specialist Lead Tutor to join a unique alternative provision for learners aged 16‑25. This exceptional opportunity is based in a stunning converted barn, offering a tranquil learning environment surrounded by nature and open fields.

This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday‑Friday inline with school hours.

All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility vetting including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references. A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage due to the urgent nature of some of these roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead a bespoke, learner‑led curriculum centered on the "Pathways to Adulthood".
• Direct and mentor a small team of 1:1 support staff to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery.
• Create meaningful, hands‑on learning experiences utilising the rural setting and wildlife.
• Manage all assessments and documentation during your dedicated weekly "admin day".
• Partner with the Mental Health Support Worker to integrate emotional wellbeing into daily learning.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of sensory processing, communication barriers, and complex needs.
• Ability to translate long‑term goals into engaging, individualised daily projects.
• Proven experience delegating to and motivating support staff.
• Skilled in non‑traditional, therapeutic teaching methods without the constraints of Ofsted.
• A full, clean driving licence and access to a car.
