A leading educational institution is seeking an Outreach Tutor in Essex to provide one-to-one tuition to students with special educational needs (SEND). The role involves creating and delivering personalized lesson plans to support student re-integration into education. Candidates must have relevant qualifications, UK education experience, and the right to work in the UK. This is a contract position offering flexible hours and competitive pay rates.

- UK education experience preferred.

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and Schools throughout the UK. We have a high demand for one-to-one Tutors with SEN experience in the Essex area.
As a SEND Tutor, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 lessons that are tailored to each student. The aim of tuition will be to support in the re-integration process of education. The tuition is replacing school for these young people and each individual is commissioned a certain amount of hours. Prospero will work closely to monitor the progression with each pupil by asking you to submit weekly reports.

- Hours: Ranging from 6-30 Hours P/W
- Rate of pay: From 21.30 - 25 per hour
- Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition supporting students with SEND, focusing on building confidence, teaching life skills, how to safely access the community, simple cooking and fostering Independence
- Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and their families.
- Child related / Education qualification.
- Possess UK education experience.
- Have experience working with SEND.
- Hold right to work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
- Be able to reference the last two years of employment.
