• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Monitor and adjust plans to address changes in demand or production capacity.
• Track inventory levels and ensure optimal stock control practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Generate reports and provide updates on planning activities to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the planning function.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

A successful Planner should have:

• Experience in production planning, procurement, or supply chain within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in planning software or ERP systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

• Hourly pay rate of approximately £14.40 to £17.60, based on experience.
• 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, pro-rated for the temporary contract.
• Flexible working hours totalling 27.5 hours per week.
