Agility have just received an exciting role from a returning client looking for a talented Assistant Accountant, this is a brand new role due to expansion. This is a large scale family run logistic company which despite its size, maintains those family values and insures that all employees feel valued and are given the opportunity to progress.
Your role:
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Reconciliation and payment of client rebates
- Apportionment and reconciliation of costs
- Prepare revenue and cost revenue to be included in the Management Accounts
- Processing and claims resolutions
- Authorising weekly BACS runs and purchase order payments
- Preparation of weekly forecasts
- Assisting with preparation of annual budgets and cash flow forecasting
- Other ad hoc duties
Person specification
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Highly organised and adaptable
- High attention to detail
- Team player
