Stepping Stones is a warm, nurturing, and inclusive early years setting dedicated to providing high-quality education and care for children aged [insert age range]. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team.
As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding early years provision. You will support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Provide high‑quality care, learning, and teaching experiences following the EYFS framework
- Plan, implement, and assess engaging activities tailored to individual children's needs
- Act as a key person, ensuring effective tracking, observations, and communication with parents/carers
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to uphold preschool policies and values
- Promote safeguarding and follow all relevant procedures to ensure children's wellbeing
- Contribute to the overall development and continuous improvement of the setting
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
- Experience working within an early years setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
- Commitment to equality, inclusion, and high‑quality early education
- Paediatric First Aid certificate
- Experience with learning journals or digital observation tools
- Additional training in SEND, behaviour support, or speech and language
- Supportive, friendly staff team
