A secondary school in Essex is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to foster teaching and personal development for students from Year 7 to 13. The ideal candidate will have qualifications in Maths and English at a minimum of C grade, alongside desirable qualifications such as a TA qualification. Responsibilities of the post holder will be in accordance with the Learning Support Assistant job description.
Hours of work: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.10pm, term time only (38 weeks per year).
Annual salary: as per Academy's Support Staff Pay Scale, up to £23,751 salary (Band 2 Point 11-14), actual salary offered £15,971 per annum, pro rata equivalent of point 11 including an allowance for holiday pay.
The successful applicant should have qualifications in Maths and English at minimum C grade [or grade 4] GCSE or equivalent Level 2 qualification. Desirable qualifications include TA qualification, qualification in childcare or A levels/Level 3 qualifications.
