We are looking for a speech and language therapist to join our diverse Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Team in the London borough of Redbridge. You will work as part of a friendly, diverse, and supportive team to provide services for children with speech, language, communication, and feeding difficulties in pre-school settings, community clinics, and schools. Your role will include assessments, interventions, and training to upskill parents, carers, and education staff. There are opportunities to develop and specialise in areas such as Autism and AAC.
This position is ideal for an established Band 5 speech and language therapist seeking a new challenge or a Band 6 therapist ready to diversify their career.
As a core member of our Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Team, you will deliver care in community, clinics, and educational settings.
Starting with NELFT, new employees will receive a comprehensive induction, including mandatory and systems training, at our head office in Rainham, Essex. Induction begins on the first Monday of each month.
This role is subject to a probationary period, except for internal applicants. It also attracts a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary, paid pro-rata for part-time staff.
