£39,483 - £47,549 (including paid school holidays) + excellent benefits

Overview

This role is based at Hilden Park School, 2 days per week. Hilden Park School is an independent specialist day school providing high‑quality education in West Kent to a diverse group of pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will support educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments and will offer individualised interventions based on clinical assessment and formulation.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments.
  • Provide supervision, clinical development and training to staff where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and report to senior management.
  • Engage with and support the wider 220+ strong team of clinical colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
  • Proven skills and experience engaging children and young people with complex needs.
  • Experience supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure a clinically informed environment.
  • Strong leadership, training and communication skills.
  • Highly organised and able to take initiative.
