A staffing agency is seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Exeter to work with children aged four to nineteen, including those with autism. The role includes supporting teachers, maintaining a nurturing environment, and working with small groups. Ideal candidates will have experience in education and with SEND children. Competitive daily rates are offered along with professional development access.
Exeter, start date flexible, salary £100‑£105 a day.
TeacherActive is proud to work with a SEND school in Exeter. The school welcomes children aged four to nineteen and supports those with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other moderate to severe learning difficulties.
Work one‑to‑one or in small groups with primary and secondary aged children. Support teachers in lesson planning and delivery. Assist children with autism and other learning difficulties. Maintain a positive, nurturing classroom environment and collaborate with teaching staff to ensure each child’s educational needs are met.
