Qualifikationen
- Experience with 3D laser scanning technology is essential.
- Proficiency in CAD applications for creating 3D models and CAD imagery.
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations during onsite activities.
Aufgaben
- Conduct on-site surveys using traditional and laser scanning technology.
- Perform post-survey registration and data management.
- Create 3D models from point cloud data.

PointSCAN provide precision 3D laser surveys with supporting 2D & 3D CAD applications for clients across the UK and Europe.
We have a position for a Survey / CAD technician. Their role will require, but is not limited to:
- Undertake on-site surveys of clients' sites using traditional and 3D laser scanning technology
- Complete post-survey registration of survey data
- Complete 3D modelling and CAD imagery from point cloud data formats
- Produce 3D & 2D drafting data as per clients' specifications
- Provide the appropriate level of quality
- Participate in continuous improvement of the business processes
- Operate business processes within the framework of a Quality Management System
- Assure effective documentation of the surveying processes, including 3D data and as-built documentation, input to O&Ms and feedback to the design disciplines
- Recognise the importance of satisfying the customer as the key to achieving other objectives
- Continue to develop personally and technically
- Participate in the acquisition and storing of business and technical knowledge, and the use of those stored intellectual assets
- Maintain Health and Safety levels during the on-site survey activities
- Recognise that Health and Safety considerations are central to all tasks and contribute to ensuring a safe working environment for all
- Report safety issues responsibly and participate in improving practice
- Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations
- Maintain a positive approach to work, providing open and honest feedback
