Job summary
A leading defence contractor in Croydon is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to support a major government programme. The role includes designing data pipelines, developing ETL processes, and ensuring compliance with government security standards. Applicants must have strong experience with AWS services and active SC clearance. The position offers £500/day outside IR-35 for a contract until the end of the financial year, requiring 2-4 days per month on site.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, IAM).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks.
- Knowledge of data modelling, ETL frameworks, and best practices.
- Familiarity with security and compliance in government or regulated environments.

- Active SC clearance (mandatory).
