Wire Forming Machinist - Day Shift with Growth
Job summary
A local engineering firm in Andover is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to set and operate specialist forming machines. This role involves ensuring quality production, maintaining equipment, and contributing to process improvements. Previous machining experience is required, along with GCSEs in Maths and English. The position offers regular hours with the potential for overtime. Interested candidates should apply with a complete CV. Qualifications
- Previous machining experience working for an engineering company.
- Technical training will be given on the job.
- An awareness of Health and Safety around industrial engineering machines.
Responsibilities
- Set, run, and monitor machines/processes.
- Ensure product quality and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment.
- Train others on machines/processes.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement/Kaizen events.
