A support organization in Northern Ireland is seeking a Project Manager to lead a children’s project aimed at providing therapeutic support to young individuals impacted by trauma. The role involves managing project operations, engaging with stakeholders, and delivering services effectively. Candidates should have a relevant degree and experience in managing trauma-related services. This part-time position offers a salary of £37,538 pro-rata and a mix of onsite and remote work options. Victim Support NI are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to take forward a children and young person’s project which has evolved from the former Aggression Related Trauma Project (ART) located in the Northern and Western Health and Social Care Trust.The project will provide long term therapeutic support to children and young people aged 8 - 20 years who have experienced physical, sexual or emotional trauma. In addition, the project will deliver themed psycho-education programmes for parents and guardians and knowledge sharing events with other stakeholders.We are seeking to appoint a Project Manager who has the vision, passion and experience to support the ongoing success and development of this project.The post holder will be employed 20 hours per week and will be based at Victim Support NI offices either in Belfast or Foyle-this will be agreed with the successful candidate. It is envisaged that a proportion of the post holder’s duties can be carried out remotely. The post holder will be required to undertake travel to Northern Trust area and throughout Northern Ireland and beyond. They may be required to undertake other duties commensurate with their role as and when required within Victim Support NI.
