This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and want to gain valuable classroom experience. Whether you are a graduate considering a career in teaching, an experienced Cover Supervisor, or someone with strong classroom management skills, we'd love to hear from you!
- As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be stepping into the classroom to deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes across a range of subjects.
- Managing behaviour in line with school policies.
- Providing guidance and support to pupils where needed.
- Ensuring that students remain engaged and on task.
- Flexibility - choose the days you want to work.
- Variety - gain experience in different schools and settings.
- Competitive pay - between 90 and 140 per day depending on experience.
- Ongoing support - from our friendly and professional Derby team.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A positive and adaptable approach to working with young people.
- Previous school-based experience is desirable, but not essential.
