A well-established family-run manufacturer is seeking a Senior Supervisor Technician to oversee day-to-day operations on the shop floor. You will ensure that production targets are achieved while providing technical support and performing maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate must have experience in the plastics industry, basic machinery maintenance skills, and supervisory experience. The position offers a salary between £38,000 and £42,000 with available overtime and a rotating double shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations on shift, ensuring production targets are met.
• Support with machine setting, and preparing machines for production.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, stripping, and cleaning.
• Monitor and respond to machine performance, addressing breakdowns or maintenance needs.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to operators.
• Contribute to continuous improvement.
