Seeking a Social Work Team Manager with a specialism in Looked After Children in St Helens, UK. This locum role offers an attractive rate of £52.86 per hour on a full-time basis. The initial contract is 3 months, with potential for extension.

• Lead, mentor, and support your team to effectively manage cases of looked after children
• Ensure that the team achieves high standards in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Work closely with the assistant team manager to oversee day-to-day operations
• Liaise with external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care plans
• Monitor and assess team performance, providing feedback and implementing improvements as required
• Participate in meetings and case reviews, offering your expertise and guidance

• Degree or equivalent in social work
• Current Social Work England registration
• Recent managerial experience, working as a TM, DTM or ATM etc.
• Significant frontline experience in Adults/Children’s Services working as a Team Manager
