Job Title: Water Treatment Supervisor.
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £50k + Benefits + Commission scheme.

We are working closely with an independent and privately owned Water Treatment / Legionella outfit who are now seeking to take on a professional and personable Water Treatment Supervisor. The successful applicant will have excellent technical knowledge and experience on closed systems, steam boilers, and cooling towers and relevant chemicals for dosing and will be confident in managing, supervising, and providing extensive training to a team of engineers. You will also be responsible for overseeing and managing Food & Beverage and Heavy Industry sites, ensuring smooth day to day running, liaising with clients and providing excellent technical advice and support. For the successful candidate, our client can offer a generous holiday allowance, electrical / hybrid vehicle and a generous commission structure.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working for an established Water Treatment / Legionella management company.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Able to provide training to staff efficiently.
• Experience and technical knowledge of closed systems, steam boilers, cooling towers, and chemicals.
• Well versed in HSG 274 guidelines.
• Able to communicate efficiently via phone, email, and face to face.
• Organising workload in line with company and client needs.

The Role

• Overseeing and supervising a range of Legionella/Water Treatment contracts
• Attending Commercial, Local Authority and Public Sector sites to oversee and efficiently manage a team of engineers.
• Working closely with clients, ensuring to deal with any technical issues and queries in a timely manner.
• Overseeing and managing jobs, ensuring smooth day to day running.
• Using information from site to produce detailed reports ensuing to submit to clients in a timely manner.
• Creating tailored training plans for engineers, and providing training where required.
• Undertaking cleans and disinfections of cooling towers and CWSTs.
• Closed system sampling & analysis.
• Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals upon receiving analysis results.
• TMV installation, replacement, repair and servicing.
• Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Ensuring that onsite logbooks are updated accurately upon completion of work.
