The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Estates Co-ordinator and will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, well-maintained and ready for daily use. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, motivated and skilled individual who takes pride in creating a positive environment for students, staff and visitors.
- Deliver general and routine caretaking duties
- Carry out maintenance, repairs and planned safety checks
- Provide porterage and set up venues for school events
- Support staff and students with site-related needs
- Maintain site security and adhere to health & safety procedures
- Work occasional additional hours to support school events
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Be self-motivated, reliable and conscientious
- Bring a range of practical skills suitable for the role
- Have sound knowledge of health & safety guidance and legislation
- (Desirable) Have experience working in a school setting
