Job summary
A manufacturing recruitment agency is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a permanent position in East Kilbride. The role offers competitive hourly rates between £21.65 and £25.61, with the potential to earn OTE £55K through unlimited overtime. Candidates should have a recognised engineering apprenticeship or significant experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of manufacturing practices. - Recognised engineering apprenticeship or significant experience as a Turner or Miller.
- Proficient in using Fanuc controls desirable across machines such as vertical borers, lathes, mill turns, and 5-axis lathes.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the business.
- Knowledge of SPC and lean manufacturing practices.
- Good PC skills.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, high-quality components from customer drawings to required cycle times.
- Maintain efficient, cost-effective production standards.
- Identify and implement improvements to production and manufacturing methods.
- Communicate effectively across departments.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
