The role
As an Assistant Chief Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of some of the most advanced engineering projects in the world. This is your chance to join a newly established team supporting Astute and Vanguard Class Royal Navy Submarines - platforms critical to national security.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for providing technical oversight and support to the teams who are undertaking maintenance activities associated with the platform systems on submarines whilst undergoing maintenance in Devonport.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides agile working arrangements.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
