Job description
Import Freight Operator
£25,000 to £30,000 PE DOE
Grays, Essex
9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday
Strong Remuneration Package

Noble Recruiting is hiring a confident and experienced Import Freight Operator to join a friendly, growing company in West Thurrock. This is a permanent, full-time role with great long-term prospects.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage import shipments from start to finish
- Book ocean & air freight with overseas agents
- Process customs entries for air, sea & land freight
- Handle CNS/Destin8 systems (preferred but not essential)
- Organise deliveries, invoices & shipping reports
- Communicate with importers, suppliers & customers
What You Need:
- 2-3 years experience in import/freight forwarding
- Strong communication & problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task & manage time effectively
- Driver with own transport preferred
- UK resident with right to work (no visa sponsorship)
