An educational institution in Limpsfield Chart is seeking Care Support Assistants for part-time, term-time roles. The position involves supporting students in both educational and residential settings. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and working closely with care teams. The ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a patient attitude, and ideally past experience in a similar setting. The role offers fully funded training and a supportive work environment.
CARE SUPPORT ASSISTANT (EDUCATION) or (RESIDENTIAL)
PERMANENT PART TIME, TERM TIME ROLES
39 working weeks and 6.4 paid holiday
£12.60 per hour : £14,307 actual gross p.a.
24 hours per week : Monday to Thursday : 3.30pm to 9.30pm
£13.50 per hour : £14,716 actual gross p.a.
16 hours per week : Monday to Thursday : 6.00pm to 10.00pm
£13.50 per hour : £9,811 actual gross p.a.
We are looking for Care Support Assistants to support students across in either the class or residential settings. In this hands‑on, rewarding role you will help students develop their independence, life skills and confidence every day.
You will support students’ physical, social, emotional and educational needs, helping with daily activities such as mealtimes, personal care and mobility. You will also assist with learning, life skills and activities that promote independence and personal development. You will work closely with the education or residential teams following student care plans and maintaining safety whilst supporting students’ wellbeing. Specialist training including medication and gastrostomy feed administration will be provided as required.
