Hannett Hale Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Carlisle, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants. This exciting opportunity begins in January and is available on a full-time or part-time basis, making it ideal for anyone looking for a fresh start or a phased return to the classroom. The school is looking to cover various age groups hence the need to recruit a few suitable team members.

The Roles
  • Start Date: January 2026
  • Contract: Full-time or part-time
  • Support to teach engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEN, through differentiated and child‑centred approaches
  • Contribute to planning, assessment, and whole‑school initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure strong progress and pupil wellbeing
