What skills and experience we're looking for
  • ESSENTIAL
  • GCSE's with a minimum grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent

  • Experience of working as a Science Technician
  • A knowledge of Physics or practical experience in a technical or scientific context
  • Experience of following health and safety procedures and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and students
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • DESIRABLE

We are currently looking for a Science Technician to join our team of Science Technicians working in a very successful science department. Part‑time will be considered. Previous experience would be advantageous but we are willing to train a suitable applicant.

  • 37 hours per week
  • 40 worked weeks per annum
  • £21,686 - £22,729 (actual salary per annum pro‑rata)
