The I-HUB is a newly created Centre of Excellence delivering new products and propositions across our Business Units. Our goal is to maximize leverage of our existing footprint, expand our product range, and anticipate customer needs. By 2030, the initiatives will contribute over $1bn in annual revenue.

The role

As the Head of Proposition Development, you will drive growth by identifying customer needs, bringing innovation to product development, and managing relationships with service providers and carriers. You will also collaborate on distribution channels to increase relevance and meet customer insurance needs.

You should possess excellent relationship management, commercial acumen, and the ability to execute quickly. Your role sits at the intersection of innovation, commercial development, and strategic partnerships, working globally across diverse cultures.

Role responsibilities:

1. Lead development of new insurance propositions from concept to market launch
2. Identify unmet customer needs through research and data analysis
3. Promote a customer-first approach in product design
4. Coordinate with marketing, underwriting, and distribution for go-to-market strategies
5. Manage service providers and third-party capacity providers to enhance value
6. Identify distribution channels for new products across markets
7. Monitor market trends to inform development
8. Evaluate and optimize existing products for value and customer experience

Candidate profile

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in creating innovative products, strong customer focus, and commercial insight. They should bring an 'outside-in' market perspective and be capable of operating with an entrepreneurial mindset within a large organization.

Experience

1. Significant experience in developing new products and propositions
2. Ability to build relationships across levels and functions
3. Entrepreneurial mindset to identify and structure new opportunities
4. Proven ability to scale successes and motivate stakeholders
5. Strong organizational skills and process focus
6. Strategic and consultative communication skills at senior levels
7. Persistence in navigating complex organizations
