At this pivotal growth stage, the business seeks a UK Business Development Lead to drive partnership engagement—onboarding installers onto their financing platform & proactively contributing to the UK’s decarbonisation through renewable energy project financing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engage with Renewable Energy Installers, agree on heads of terms, and originate partnerships.
2. Develop referral/incentive programs to build installer loyalty and market share quickly.
3. Design and develop partner vetting and onboarding processes to ensure high-performing, technically proficient installer partners.
4. Develop tactical partnerships to create revenue opportunities, including collaborations with other parts of the installer supply chain, such as quote generation software and manufacturers.
5. Ensure customer success by onboarding installers and gathering feedback on platform usage.
6. Develop and track installer performance KPIs.
7. Conduct periodic market research and analysis.
8. Attend conferences and events on behalf of the business.
9. Create a vibrant community of installer partners through targeted in-person and online events.
10. Frequent travel may be required to meet and build rapport with installers.

Candidate Profile:

Experienced business development professional with a strong renewable energy installer network.

Knowledgeable about the renewable energy market (preferably solar, battery, heat pump, or related technologies).

Excellent rapport builder capable of engaging stakeholders at various levels of seniority and across different parts of the supply chain.

Autonomous, self-starting, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
