Job summary
A Midlands local authority is seeking a Locum Childcare/ASC Legal Assistant for an initial period of 3 months with a potential extension. The role is predominantly remote, offering an hourly rate of up to £30. The ideal candidate will have a background in handling Childcare/ASC matters and experience working with Local Authorities. Responsibilities include providing legal and administrative support, liaising with courts and external bodies, and managing their own caseload. - Day to day liaisons with the Childcare team, Courts, external bodies, and other bodies.
- Collating evidence, preparing court applications, and managing document management of Court cases.
- Administrative tasks such as preparing bundles.
- Be prepared to manage own caseload.
Skills
Position: Locum Childcare/ASC Paralegal

Duration: 3 months + with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote working, with office attendance on occasion
Hourly Rate: Up to £30 per hour Umbrella
