A construction firm in Dronfield is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include procurement of subcontractors, cost management, and ensuring accurate cash flow forecasts. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Commercial awareness is essential for managing contracts.
- Proficient in IT, particularly Excel, for managing budgets and forecasts.
- Good problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are vital for client interaction.
- Attention to detail to ensure all financial records are accurate.
- 5 years experience in Quantity Surveying or similar roles required.
Responsabilités
- Manage procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure contract variations are captured and agreed in a timely manner.
- Produce accurate monthly CVRs for projects.
- Submit client valuations in accordance with contract terms.
- Update cost budgets and cashflow forecasts regularly.
