A leading UK civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. You will provide essential commercial expertise to project teams and ensure accurate reporting and cost control within various civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Quantity Surveying and experience in commercial management. This role offers a competitive salary package and requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Good working knowledge of ICE/NEC forms of contract and construction law.
- Experience in commercial management and subcontract procurement.
- Skilled in estimation and cost analysis.
Responsabilités
- Provide commercial expertise to project teams.
- Produce accurate cost and value reports.
- Manage cost forecasting and support monthly CVR updates.
- Engage the supply chain with suitable contract terms.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
