A leading AI research firm in London is seeking an experienced Economist to conduct research on the economic effects of AI technologies. Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Economics and advanced skills in data analysis, particularly in labor markets and productivity. This role also offers an attractive compensation package, including an annual salary between $295,000 – $345,000 USD.

For this role we are looking for candidates who can combine rigorous economic analysis with novel measurement approaches to understand AI’s transformative effects on the economy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable at the intersection of empirical economics, technological change, and policy impact.
Annual Salary: $295,000 – $345,000 USD. Total compensation includes equity benefits and may include incentive compensation.
We are primarily hiring in San Francisco, but may consider candidates based in London. All staff are expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more time on site.
