Handle's client, a leading Music Company, is seeking a Finance Director to oversee the rapidly growing Finance function. The successful candidate will oversee the accounting department in the UK and be heavily involved in financial control, strategic decision-making, and business tasks, working closely with senior management.

Requirements:

• Must come from a Music Label or Publishing background.
• Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Have a proven track record of adding commercial value within the Music Industry, either in a Record Label or Music Publishing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall financial security and performance of the group.
• Provide forecasts to the board to highlight financial opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Board to build business value.
• Work with business units to improve financial performance.
• Conduct competitor analysis.
• Develop financial models for project understanding.
• Formulate and manage business plans for units and the group.
• Monitor cash flow and solvency.
• Report financial matters to the Board.
• Ensure system performance aligns with business needs.
• Manage policies regarding capital, debt, taxation, and acquisitions/disposals.
• Implement controls for business stability and profitability.
• Coordinate with auditors for timely annual accounts.
