Job summary
A staffing solutions company seeks a Warehouse Operative for their Distribution Centre in Rottingdean. In this role, you'll be responsible for handling goods, managing stock, and delivering items. The pay ranges from £13.50 to £30.19 per hour depending on experience, with the potential for a permanent position after temporary work. This is a full-time role requiring the ability to lift heavy items and perform under a busy workload. On-site benefits include free parking and PPE provided.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives at Emerald Park, Folly Brook Road, BS16 7FE.
Opportunity to earn £459 weekly in the first 12 weeks of experience and £555 weekly after 12 weeks of experience on site (based on 34 hours worked a week).
This is an ongoing position with the possibility of going from temporary to permanent!
The rate of pay is £13.50 to £30.19 per hour.
- First 12 weeks: £13.50 per hour, weekends £17.41 per hour.
- After 12 weeks: £16.33 per hour, weekends £20.41 per hour.
- Performance bonus.
- Weekend bonus of 20% on top of the normal rate.
- Full-time role working fixed shifts, 5 out of 7. Hours: 1:30pm to 9:30pm (Chill).
This role would not be suitable for students due to shift requirements.
As a Warehouse Operative you will handle goods; your day-to-day duties include:
- Picking produce and selecting stock.
- Stacking items into cages.
- Delivering items and cages to the loaders.
- Using manual handling equipment in a busy environment.
- Heavy lifting up to 25kg.
Our ideal Warehouse Operative is comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment and can meet targets and deadlines.
- Speak English at a conversational level.
- Experience in a similar role is required.
