Job summary

A leading health organization in Wales is seeking a Health Visitor to join their team in Rhosllannerchrugog. You will manage a caseload, enhance family resilience, and improve public health outcomes for the community. The ideal candidate will possess a Health Visiting degree, current NMC registration, and excellent communication skills. This position requires a self-motivated, team-oriented individual committed to safeguarding children's wellbeing while working within the Healthy Child Wales Programme.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent in Health Visiting with current NMC registration.
  • In-depth understanding of Public health agenda & priorities.
  • Experience in teaching in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload within a defined population, improving health outcomes.
  • Lead the delivery & organization of the public health program.
  • Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proven skills in motivating and influencing others
Basic IT skills to include WORD and email
MECC

Education

SCPHN Health Visitor Post graduate diploma or Certificate or working towards it
