Job description

Shopper-Aide is looking for a committed, focussed individual to manage the day-to-day operation and promote the charitable aims of the organisation. 32.5hrs/week.

The manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation including: line‑management of staff and volunteers, managing vehicles and other assets, ensuring policies and procedures (health & safety, safeguarding, GDPR, insurance etc.) are followed by all staff, coordinating staff, volunteers and other external connections to ensure clients needs are met. The manager will work with the board of directors to shape the charities' strategy and projects.

The manager will also oversee the financial including: day-to-day accounts, coordinating with accountants to produce and submit year‑end accounts, processing payrolls with third‑party administrators, applying for third‑party fund, managing funds and reporting to funders.

The manager will act as the public ambassador for the charity and support its integration with other organisations and the local community by: attending outreach and fundraising events, working with other organisations on projects and sharing knowledge, resources and refer clients.
