Associate, Private Equity Secondaries
Job summary
A global investment firm in the UK is seeking an Associate for its Private Equity Secondaries Investment Team in London. The successful candidate will evaluate investment opportunities, conduct analyses on private equity interests, and support transaction management. An ideal candidate has 2-4 years of relevant experience, strong financial modelling skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers continuous applications until the search concludes.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in private equity secondaries, investment banking, or principal investing.
- Strong academic record with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Advanced financial analysis, modelling, and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate investment opportunities through detailed due diligence and research.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on private equity interests.
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to committees.
- Support transaction management and monitor existing investments.
- Build relationships with fund sponsors and advisors.

As the team continues to grow, the firm is currently looking to hire an Associate to join our Private Equity Secondaries Investment Team in our London office.
- Evaluate investment opportunities through detailed due diligence, industry research, benchmarking, and financial modelling
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on buyout, growth and other private equity limited partnership interests and underlying companies
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to committees and broader investment team
- Support the investment team in transaction management and monitoring of existing investments
- Build industry relationships by engaging with fund sponsors, advisors, and attending conferences and sponsor meetings
- 2–4 years of experience in private equity secondaries, investment banking, private equity, or principal investing
- Strong academic record, demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Advanced financial analysis, modelling, and presentation capabilities
- Ability to work independently and thrive in collaborative, fast‑paced deal teams
