A public sector consulting company is seeking a Procurement Manager in Central London. This role focuses on governance and capability, requiring strong experience in UK Public Sector Procurement. The successful candidate will manage compliance with procurement policies and procedures while operating in a hybrid working model, requiring two days on-site. The salary range is from £60,000 to £70,000 per annum with various benefits.
Cedar is supporting a Public Sector client based in Central London who are looking to hire a Procurement Manager for Governance & Capability. This is a permanent job opportunity offering a salary ranged from c£60,000 up to £70,000 per annum along with some great benefits. The role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectations to be on-site 2 days per week.
Reporting into the Head of Procurement, the successful candidate will be responsible for line managing 1 individual and will be responsible for overseeing compliance, in line with the new Procurement Act, across a wide range of Goods and Services, working closely with key category teams to achieve best practice. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining procurement policies, procedures and eSourcing solutions along with helping develop capabilities across the Procurement function and overseeing risk, assurance and key information shared both internally and externally. This role is not focused on delivering end to end Procurements, it is focused on Governance and Capability!
