Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Reports To: CFO / Commercial Manager
Location: Head Office
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday Friday (8:30am 5:00pm; Friday 8:30am 4:00pm)

The Supply Chain Manager will lead the end-to-end supply chain function, ensuring efficiency, resilience, and sustainability across procurement, warehousing, logistics, and distribution. The Supply Chain Manager will drive strategic initiatives, optimise processes, and build strong supplier relationships to support business growth. This senior leadership role will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and commercial results.
Supply Chain Strategy & Operations:
Develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
Oversee procurement, supplier management, logistics, warehousing, and inventory control.
Lead contract negotiations, ensuring best value and long-term supplier partnerships.
Forecast demand and manage supply planning to support sales and marketing activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency, service levels, and sustainability.
Manage risk and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Team Leadership:
Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance to deliver business objectives.
Proven leadership experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations (57+ years preferred).
Strong track record in supplier negotiations, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain management.
Excellent commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills.
Experience with ERP and supply chain management systems.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and people leadership skills.
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
CIPS qualification (MCIPS) highly desirable.
Additional certifications (e.g., CILT, APICS/CSCP) advantageous.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication skills, able to engage internal teams and external suppliers at all levels.
Leadership and people management skills, with a focus on developing high-performing teams.
Results-driven, resilient, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

The Supply Chain Manager will have significant senior-level experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations management, with a proven record in supplier negotiation, contract management, cost optimisation, and cross-functional leadership. Experience in FMCG, retail, or fast-moving commercial environments is highly desirable, along with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management, procurement best practices, and sustainability standards.
