Group Financial Controller | £80,000 - £100,000 | Blackpool | Rapidly Growing Green SME | Building to Sell to PE | Green Technology
Axon Moore is working on behalf of a highly regarded CFO as they push into new markets as they go 'green'. This is an exciting opportunity for a Group Financial Controller to go on a growth journey with them over the next 3-5 years.
They have recently heavily invested into green technology and have pushed into new markets. They're already a strong group of businesses, each with their own specialism and loyal customer base. Each subsidiary is highly profitable and has operated for a very long time in the market. Given the nature of wider societal norms in 2025, the owners have not wanted to sit back, but are seeking to be leaders in their sector, achieving this by developing innovative ways to attack the market through 'green' initiatives. The business is growing rapidly and hopes to sell the business via trade or to private equity in the next few years.
The new Group Financial Controller will sit alongside a strong Group Head of FP&A and will report to the existing CFO and CEO. The role will be responsible for developing an existing finance team but will expect to hire multiple new heads over the course of the next 12 months. This role will have full license to build everything from scratch, striving for a best-in-class department, and facilitating the CFO as they build towards an exit in a few years' time.
For more information about this role then please submit an application or contact Dan Calland at Axon Moore's Lancashire office.
