Job summary
A leading engineering firm is seeking a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to perform service and maintenance at a static site in Derby. This role involves completing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting various A/C systems, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications and have experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential., The position is full-time and requires a UK driving license.
Qualifications
- Experience with Air Conditioning systems service and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety obligations.
- UK Driving License required.
Responsibilities
- Complete PPMs & Reactive works including breakdowns.
- Produce quotations for works after service visits.
- Maintain logs and complete FGAS paperwork.

Position; Air Conditioning Engineer
Based; Onsite at Rolls-Royce - Derby (static)
Hours; 40 - Monday to Friday
Role Summary: We are looking for a qualified and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service maintenance works on our Rolls-Royce contract in Derby. The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our client working on a varied selection of Air Conditioning systems. If you are looking for a varied static sites role, then this is a unique opportunity in Derby.
- Attend and complete PPMs & Reactive works as scheduled including breakdowns
- Have install experience (retrofit/system replacements)
- Troubleshooting/ Fault finding on all A/C systems
- To produce quotations for works /remedials following service visits
- To work on Splits, VRFS, AHUs and DX systems and some Central Plant
- To be able to work alone and with other team members when necessary
- Complete all FGAS paperwork on sites and update logbooks in client premises
- To be part of the Out of Hours Call Out Rota
- C&G 2079 Cat1
- NVQ Level 3 or similar
- F-Gas
- Good Mechanical & Electrical Background
- Must have experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations with regards to maintenance activities
- Must be prepared to work out of hours when required and on a scheduled callout rota
- Have good communication and organisation skills
- UK Driving License
- Good understanding of IT packages including Outlook, Word etc
If successful, you will be required to pass SC clearance.
