Job summary
A recruitment firm is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join their client’s team in Walsall on a permanent basis. The role involves servicing, maintaining, and installing fire alarm systems, with responsibilities including fault finding and documenting work. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the sector, with FIA or BS5839 training preferred. The annual salary ranges from £34,000 to £38,000, with an OTE of £40,000 to £50,000.

- Ability to cover a 24‑hour call‑out on a rota basis.

We are looking to recruit a Fire Alarm Technician on behalf of our client to join their existing team on a permanent basis.
- Service, maintain, and install electronic security and fire alarm systems, including emergency lighting.
- Perform fault finding, rectification, and problem solving.
- Commission systems and document work for a wide range of electronic security and fire alarm systems.
- Minimum of 3 years experience within the Electronic Security and Fire Alarm industry.
- FIA or BS5839 training is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to cover a 24‑hour call‑out on a rota basis.
- Sound knowledge of current standards and legislation.
Annual starting salary £34,000 - £38,000 (OTE £40,000 - £50,000)
