Job Description

As a Serious Injury/Complex Claims NQ/Solicitor you will be:

• 
  
  Managing a varied caseload of serious injury and complex defendant-side claims. You will deal with corporate clients in connection with catastrophic injury and large loss cases arising from injuries at work, public liabilities and road traffic accidents in addition to claims of sexual assault, harassment and stress/bullying. The team also has substantial expertise in representing police forces in claims of misfeasance, false imprisonment and malicious prosecution.

  In addition to civil actions, the team is instructed in relation to a substantial group litigation case and represents a number of clients in relation to a high-profile public inquiry.

  Acting for major insurers, corporates, police forces and public bodies
• 
  
  Advising on serious injury at work, public liability, RTA, and harassment/stress claims
• 
  
  Assisting in group litigation and high-profile public inquiry work
• 
  
  Conducting litigation from issue to trial, including ADR and case strategy

The Successful Applicant

A successful Serious Injury/Complex Claims NQ/Solicitor should have

· Experience of running own EL/ PL caseload including experience of determining liability.

· Experience of working within a large loss team.

· Previous experience of Defendant personal injury litigation.
