• Provide comprehensive healthcare services, including health assessments, immunizations, and health education to school-aged children.
• Collaborate with schools, children’s social care professionals, GPs, and other healthcare providers to deliver holistic care.
• Guide and supervise junior nursing staff and healthcare assistants to enhance service delivery.
• Focus on public health by identifying early health needs and implementing protective interventions.
• Engage with the community to address public health needs through targeted programs.
• Ensure accuracy in record keeping and actively participate in clinical governance activities.

• Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Experience in school nursing or a related healthcare setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Leadership qualities and organizational capability.
• Flexibility and resilience in handling challenging situations, including child safeguarding.

The role involves working primarily in schools and community settings with occasional travel. You must be prepared for the physical demands such as administering immunizations, and possess strong emotional resilience for handling stress.
