A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking an experienced CNC Turner / Miller to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in manual and CNC turning or milling, with the ability to program machines. Responsibilities include setting, programming, and operating machines for precision components. Competitive salary between £40,000 - £42,000 and excellent benefits await, including a pension and health insurance.

For over 60 years, this business has been constantly evolving their product portfolio to meet the demands and ever-changing needs for some of the world's largest industries. From the design of their first ever product, the business has sustained manufacturing excellence, setting the industry standard.
Today they operate from a purpose built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, where they routinely design and develop system solutions for bespoke applications.
Due to an increasing volume of sales, they now need to expand and strengthen their Engineering department with the hire of an experienced CNC Turner / Miller.
- Salary £40,000 - £42,000
- 39 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm & Friday 7.30am-12.30pm
- 25 days holiday, plus statutory
- Excellent 10% employer pension
- Other benefits include: death in service, income protection benefits and health insurance, together with a non-contractual annual profit share bonus
Commutable From: Northampton, Long Buckby, Leicester, Coventry, Milton Keynes, Rugby, Banbury
- Proven experience of both Manual and CNC Turning or Milling.
- Must be Time Served / Apprentice Trained (or equivalent).
- Must be able to Program, not just Operate the business write their own programs.
- Experience working on one-off high precision components.
- Knowledge of either Fanuc, Siemens or XYZ controls.
- The CNC Turner / Miller will focus on one-offs and small batches of complex precision machined components from various aerospace grade materials.
- Setting, programming, operating milling or turning machines
- Reading engineering drawings.
- Accurately inspecting and measuring components using various inspection equipment.
