Job summary

A non-profit healthcare organization in Oxfordshire is seeking a Deputy Nursing Home Manager to oversee a nursing home for older people. Domus Recruitment are looking for a Deputy Nursing Home Manager based in Oxfordshire, to help oversee a Nursing Home for older people. This role would be to work for a non for profit company with great support in a lovely Home. Chance to strive for outstanding care and work closely with a proven Nursing Home Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and management of the clinical staff.
  • Regularly assess resident's needs and develop services to reflect this.
  • Create and develop care plans for residents.
  • Establish and maintain communication with clients, relatives, and staff.
  • Coordinate care in line with Best Practice Guidelines.
  • Ensuring medication is given in accordance with resident care plans.
Requirements
  • Hold a current valid NMC pin.
  • Have previous experience in a nursing home or hospital setting.
  • Have strong clinical experience and medication knowledge.
  • Good Care Planning skills.
  • Ability to manage teams, improve services, quality, and performance.
  • Organisation skills.
