A leading insurance group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Azure to join a fast-paced development team. You will work as a full stack C# engineer, building APIs and serverless functions while collaborating with web developers across diverse business applications. Qualifications

  • Strong commercial experience of server-side development with C#, Asp.Net MVC, WebAPI REST and JSON.
  • Practical knowledge of Azure including Serverless Functions, BLOB storage, Azure Tables and Service Bus Queues.
  • Understanding of databases including ability to query SQL Server using T-SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Build new applications and components and add or amend existing business logic as per requirements.
  • Determine best approach and solution to meet business and team needs.
  • Discuss requirements and considerations with QA test analysts.
