Job summary
A leading engineering company in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking a Test Engineer to join its modern testing facility. The role entails performing both non-destructive and destructive testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will have a PCN Level 3 certification and the opportunity to engage in ongoing training and development. A competitive salary of £35,000–£40,000 is offered, along with a flexible working week and potential relocation assistance.

- PCN Level 3 certification in Dye Penetrant Testing is essential.
- Experience in both destructive and non-destructive testing is required.
- Knowledge of aerospace and naval component standards is important.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) including Dye Penetrant Testing.
- Carry out destructive tests such as tensile and shear testing.
- Operate and maintain advanced testing equipment.
