Job summary
A leading project solutions provider based in Portsmouth seeks an Assistant Site Technician to ensure safety and compliance in confined spaces at the Naval Base. The ideal candidate will manage Health and Safety standards while supporting a team upgrading critical infrastructure. Responsibilities include acting as a safety attendant, maintaining communication with workers, and assisting with equipment checks. This role offers an opportunity for practical, outdoor work within a small team, ensuring reliable equipment for the Royal Navy.
Qualifications
- Enjoy practical outdoor work and readiness to get involved.
- Understanding of Health and Safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain high standards of Health and Safety.
- Act as a confined space safety attendant.
- Maintain communication with workers in confined spaces.
- Ensure safety procedures and emergency protocols are followed.
- Assist with site setup and basic installation tasks.
- Report hazards or issues promptly.
